All devices must link to the mainboard or a fan controller for operation. Connecting power directly to the PSU removes any ability to adjust fan speed.

It has just one front fan, but it's 200mm which should provide sufficient airflow.

I'll connect it to the motherboard, but will your LED light still function? You have a LED light in your fan.
