Hello. I recently purchased two 2x8GB RAM modules and installed them on the A2 and B2 slots. Windows 10 and the BIOS still show 16GB, but only 8GB is being used. When I installed them in the A2 and B1 slots it functions properly. Another issue is that enabling XMP with both modules caused the system to crash, rebooting three times before returning to normal speed at 2133MHz. I’ve tried everything, including updating the BIOS to the latest version. My PC specs are a Ryzen 7 1700, APSORB Nox 2x8GB RAM, ASRock B450M PRO F-BOOST v7.4.

For best results, use a simple fix. Enter the system settings, navigate to the [boot] section, and select [advanced setup]. Mark the box for [max memory], uncheck if already selected, then click OK. You should see a prompt to restart—likely you need to do this manually. If it doesn’t restart automatically, try adjusting the speed manually and check if higher voltage is required. I can’t give specific advice on voltage since I’m not running AMD systems right now.

I've checked everything available—configured msconfig, activated XMP, and adjusted the bus speed manually. Tested RAM sticks separately, and both functioned normally with XMP enabled.
