Issue with downloading Windows File not found or corrupted Troubleshooting steps available
Hello everyone, I recently purchased an Asus TUF F15 laptop equipped with an i5 11400H and a 3050 processor. It arrived without Windows installed, and I've been attempting to download it but the system doesn't recognize the USB drive in the BIOS or on the motherboard. Additionally, it fails to boot its own SSD. Another issue is that the fans spin extremely fast at around 5000 RPM, causing the temperature to rise unexpectedly. Could anyone assist me with these problems? Thank you in advance!
Try using a different port for legacy and UEFI setup; you may need to add a disk certificate to the UEFI to enable functionality. To identify an SSD, you might require AHCI/RAID drivers. When you press F12 to boot, choose the boot drive based on its format—selecting Legacy or UEFI will start it accordingly.
I attempted the steps you mentioned, but the USB shows up in the BIOS list yet no storage appears during Windows installation. Adding an SSD via BIOS isn’t straightforward—please let me know if you need guidance on that process. Thanks for reaching out.
Check if it's an SSD or NVMe M.2 device. You may need to turn on AHCI in the BIOS to view it.
It's an M.2 SSD made by Intel with 512GB storage. Apologies for the repeated mention of SSD. To enable AHCI in BIOS, follow the manufacturer’s instructions for your specific system model.
The laptop BIOS is an Asus Tuf F15 with an i5 processor. I've included a photo of the BIOS; this was the version before I posted it online. I really appreciate your assistance and any guidance you can provide. I’m hoping to resolve this issue before Monday. Thank you so much for your support. Your help means a lot.
Check the advanced section—it should mention a storage area located high up.
