Windows 11 seems to have some issues in certain situations. In my case, browsers work fine over Ethernet, but download speeds drop significantly—around 600kbps—while browsing speedtest by Ookla shows normal performance. When trying to download or search, it lags and only reaches about 90 Mbps. Task manager indicates the browser is using 4% to 20% of system resources. It might help to check for updates, run a clean boot, or try different browsers like Google Edge or Opera.

It might be due to malware or a virus. You can use Malwarebytes to check for threats. High security settings on antivirus apps may slow down your browsing. The browsers you mentioned—Google Chrome, Edge, Opera—are all built on Chromium. It’s possible the issue occurs with other browsers too, such as Firefox. Troubleshooting could be challenging, but I’m here to help!

It seems the file isn't recognized as malware, but it's causing performance issues. The browser doesn't detect it, even with antivirus disabled, and the download remains sluggish.

Is this your first time setting up Windows 11? Did you complete the driver installations?
