Issue with Device group properties not displaying in the right-click menu within TeamViewer.
I'm having trouble deleting a device group because I can't find the options after right-clicking it. This issue seems to occur with the older version of the latest TeamViewer. Someone might need to check the properties menu there.
More details are required.
Add explanation: Please specify the relevant device group or clarify how you're interacting with the "properties" feature.
Take some screenshots of the interface and applications in use.
Post them here via imgur (www.imgur.com).
Ensure you include any error messages, pop-up alerts, or other visual cues appearing during the process.
You are utilizing the free version — is that accurate? Please verify if the free version provides the necessary features.
The download source for Team Viewer was not specified; the imgur view contained some misspellings such as Compupus and shmeet.
I removed the imgur link because it could expose personal details like your name and phone number.
The file was retrieved from the TeamViewer site. I'm also utilizing the complimentary edition.
Here is the connection once more.

I looked into it and discovered the relevant page:

From there, it explains that device groups are setups where devices have complete access to the new management system. These devices are overseen by a company and come with assigned managers. To check if a device is in a group, you can go to Settings (on this device), then Advanced Settings, and finally the General tab.
The actions you’re allowed—such as deleting items—depend on what devices you’re permitted to handle and which features are available in the free TeamViewer version.
TeamViewer’s site offers many links about devices and groups; reviewing these can clarify your permissions and responsibilities within the platform.
Beyond this, I’ll rely on the community for further guidance.
Team Viewer's usage is being assessed across various settings including work, gaming, family, and personal. The expected device group to identify is the one associated with the device, and the reason for its removal is likely related to security or compliance requirements.
Sorry for the delayed response. I use it for personal reasons. I also wish to remove the device group completely and avoid any options or names under "Device groups." I simply don’t want to keep it anymore since it looks odd. I already have a drop-down menu with the same name, but I don’t need another one. It appears on my phone and pops up unexpectedly, blocking access to the main group I use. Possibly it’s an old feature that TeamViewer once had but hasn’t been removed.
I'm uncertain about that drop-down menu with the "same name." Please see the attached screenshots for clarity.
