Hey everyone, I've been seeing ping spikes in some source titles like Global Offensive and TF2 lately. My connection is usually stable at around 60ms, but every now and then it jumps up to 300ms or more, which makes me lose. I'm pretty sure it's not a network problem since it doesn't happen on my regular laptop with lower specs. Have anyone experienced this? I've tried fixing the registry, clearing game caches, and checking the basics, but the issue only appears in these games, even on community servers.

Possible cause could be a hard drive problem, probably.

You can mention that you're experiencing the same problems by saying, "I'm facing the same challenges." Or, if you want to be more specific, describe the issues clearly.

Community and Valve servers both exist online.

Consider defragmentation if your system shows slow performance. Otherwise, it might not be necessary.

Did you use identical servers for your laptop and PC? If yes, did you experience similar spikes? If not, everything seems normal… but if issues appear only on certain servers, it might be the server’s problem.

Consider a possible hard disk problem. Use the one you prefer or download a crystal disk from any source, and share a screenshot here.

Looking normal...maybe some bad sectors.Use this (careful with the install there's a lot of crapware) and check for bad sectors/check disk. After you install it click go to home select the partition your games are on and check disk.If bad sectors are a few to non then is not a disk issue
