Hello there
This concerns the Nordic version of the Corsair K95 keyboard.
Some time ago, I purchased a Corsair K95 and was really impressed.
About a year ago, I accidentally spilled coke on it, cleaned it up, but the main issue became that the Æ/æ button would take a long time to respond.
This delay meant that whenever I typed Danish and needed to type "æ", I had to press the button for a few seconds before it would output three or four "æ"s.
At first, it was a small amusing challenge for me to try and hold down the button just right.
A month later, my entire morning coffee spilled on the keyboard, and it stopped working.
I bought a new Corsair K95 because I loved the old one so much.
When I connected the new keyboard, I thought I could type quickly with æ now.
But unfortunately, it didn’t work—there was still the same delay.
I tried changing the settings on the Æ button to produce different characters, but it still had the same lag.
I also remapped other buttons to change the output, yet they retained the delay.
It seems something is not right here.
I came across a 2016 discussion about Nordic layout keyboards experiencing delays due to Asus GPU adjustments, but I don’t have that software installed, so it might not apply.
Anyone have any advice?

Try connecting your KB to another PC and check if the delay persists. If it does, the problem isn't with the KB. If not, the issue might be on your own PC.

Regarding the delay for "æ", it's not a typical character and is considered a special character. Usually, it takes time to process before it appears, which explains the lag.

Try connecting your KB to another PC and check if the delay persists. If it still occurs, the problem isn't with the KB. If not, the issue is likely within your own PC.

The delay for "æ" is unusual because it's not a standard character and is treated as a special character. Usually, it takes time for the system to process it before it appears. In Windows, using the full KB with a number pad can help—press Alt + 145 to get the "æ" sound. You can also refer to the full list of codes at the provided link.

Edit: It might be worth trying to automate Alt + 145 with a macro to see if it resolves the delay.
