Issue with Deco M4 mesh and connections
Hello everyone. I really need your assistance. At home I use an ISP modem/router and have turned off Wi-Fi. I purchased three TP-Link deco m4 mesh units and connected the main one to the router while placing the other two around the house. I enabled AP mode on the main device. I’ve observed that two laptops sometimes disconnect from Wi-Fi. Initially I thought it was a signal issue, but it happens even when I’m in a room with the main deco (connected via cable to the modem). I tested it briefly and it seems the problem is only with those two older HP laptops. When I switched to a newer Lenovo model, no disconnects occurred. I also recently bought Reolink Argus 2 security cameras and installed them through the Android app. Live streaming works fine when I click the camera, but after some time I get a connection failure message. I tried again without success. Eventually I reconnected, but the error returned. Interestingly, my phone notifications are still functioning. This means the live stream can’t connect because it shows a connection failure, yet I receive alerts when moving past the camera. Could this be related to the deco m4? Another possibility is that I can’t view live streams on cellular data (it works over Wi-Fi). What could be causing this? Thank you for your help. Best regards.
