Hi, your recent upgrade to DDR5 didn't match the AM5 socket requirements. You're using an Asus TUF GAMING X670-E board with G.Skill Trident Z5 32GB RAM. When you power on the PC, you see a yellow DRAM indicator and a motherboard beeper with specific sound patterns suggesting a memory problem. Since the RAM is new, it's possible the issue lies with the RAM itself rather than the socket compatibility. Check the manufacturer's guidelines for your motherboard and RAM model to confirm support for DDR5 in AM5.

Check if the RAM fits properly in the designated ports. Are you still awaiting the memory installation process?

Check the slots carefully. You've tested various configurations—single stick in slot 1, single in slot 2, two sticks in slots 1 and 3, and two sticks in slots 2 and 4. Which setup matches your system? Memory training typically takes a short time, often just a few seconds, especially with modern hardware. You haven’t experienced anything taking longer than that, even without DDR5.

Training may last 3 to 5 minutes in certain situations, but allow around 10 minutes for complete safety.

I've tested each stick individually in A2 for 10 minutes and neither worked—only a bright yellow DRAM indicator appeared. I also tried A2 and B2 for 30 minutes without success. This is the exact kit you mentioned. Also, the processor is a 7600X; let me know if that affects the issue.

I don’t believe there are any friends or acquaintances with DDR5 systems. It seems more likely a CPU or motherboard problem. I’d take out the CPU and check for bent pins in the socket.

Check if it works at 4800MHz or with XMP configured.

I'm not entirely sure, it might just be tiny dust particles, though I did capture some images of the socket that suggest something there. I can't blow out the dust because it seems firmly in place. Sorry for the unclear photos—I really struggled to get a clear focus. Regardless, wouldn't I see a CPU light if the issue was related to the CPU? I haven't even reached the BIOS yet and haven't had a chance to turn on XMP. Nothing has changed so far.
