Hey, I remember you used to have your old MGS2 setup on your PC a while back. When you try to launch the game now, it shows a black screen and nothing works. Your system specs are: Intel i5 4430, 16GB RAM, Kingston DDR3, Nvidia GTX970. Anyone have ideas on what might be causing this issue?

I didn’t install it by copying files from your old drive. I haven’t tried running it in compatibility mode yet.

I brought the setup with me and discovered the solution too. It was a bit unexpected, but switching from 2-channel to quadraphonic speakers resolved the issue and the game now works perfectly. Odd, right?
