You've damaged a motherboard trace while working with a screwdriver, which unfortunately affected one M.2 slot. Currently, only that slot is non-functional in the BIOS, and I haven't explored further. It's unclear if this will impact your system long-term. You might want to consider returning it for an RMA through MSI or purchasing a replacement from Newegg Canada.

If you destroyed it, the chances of them approving the RMA are minimal. If there are alternative M.2 ports offering similar speed, it's better to go along with it.

It must be a brand-new, unopened item... so unfortunately that won't work. I have some doubts about Newegg, but you could inquire further.

Yea fortunately there's one other slot I can use, but the bad news is that I use two m.2 drives, so I'd have to buy myself a PCIe adapter for the other m.2 drive. Hopefully that trace didn't screw anything else up. Just mad at myself for accidentally doing this, but it is what it is. Thanks.
