Issue with CS:GO
Occasionally the screen pauses briefly after a death or attack, making it hard to continue. This is frustrating when facing several enemies at once.
What are the specifications? Issues with GPU drivers? Should I reinstall the software? Not sure, here are some tips.
It seems there might be some visual problems. Could we look into networking and verify if there was a package loss?
For those avoiding console commands, use Shift+Tab → settings → InGame tab → display Fps Counter.
It's the game, if you look in the console when you lag, you'll see messages saying "missing vgui." It happens to me too, and nothing seems to fix it. At least it hasn't for me. It's really frustrating when you shoot someone and they shoot back—you never know who will be the last one standing until it unfreezes.
Sorry for the delay, I was on a day trip and got a 970 g1 gaming. All drivers are up to date, but I'm facing the same problem as @ arronleeds. How can I check my packet loss? It's not too bothersome, but it slows me down when reaching these bottlenecks.
