Hey everyone. I’m trying Crysis 1 and Warhead again on my GTX 1080 to see how it stacks up against my old 770. It’s really tough now—screen tearing is almost constant on a 144Hz monitor at 1440p. I’ve tweaked the settings, used Gsync and in-game Vsync. Vsync still causes some tearing, but not as severe as before; it’s around three lines. Input lag is the biggest issue, feeling like half a second delay. Gsync has zero lag but still shows about five lines of tearing with even tiny movements. When I enable in-game Vsync, it caps at 24fps, which feels like a slow-motion presentation. It’s weird how turning it off removes lag but adds more tearing. Anyone know what might be causing this? Do you have any experience fixing it?

I also have a 1440p 144 Hz Gsync monitor. I can test it with my 1080 Ti and check if the results are consistent.
