I have Kali Linux installed, yet WiFi cracking tools aren't detecting any networks. Occasionally the connection drops completely. I created a hotspot for testing purposes, but it required a reboot and several minutes before one of the six networks appeared.

Only a few brands and models have drivers available for Kali. It was really tough to connect any of my Wi-Fi devices in Kali. You might find similar tools on other distributions such as Mint, which offers better Wi-Fi support and compatibility.

The fix was applied. It didn't appear since it wasn't running in monitoring mode.
