Issue with broken x299 Aorus gaming 3 CPU frame or bracket missing.
You're having trouble finding a solution for your X299 Aorus Gaming 3 motherboard. It seems the CPU socket lacks a bracket, which makes replacement tricky. I checked online, but it's unclear how to fix or replace it without more specific guidance. Let me know if you'd like help finding alternatives or troubleshooting steps.
I don't have specific details about the installation process. Could you provide more information or clarify your question?
I haven't taken out the standard ones since some coolers have their own backplate. For the LGA2011 or 2066 models, you just unscrew the Torx fasteners as usual, place the backplate on the back, secure it with the front clamp, and then reattach the Torx screws.
