I'm facing an unusual startup issue with my Optiplex 790. Everything seems normal, the original hard drive is now acting as a secondary drive and the main drive is a crucial BX500. I bought an electric duster from Amazon to clean it up, but it fails to boot into Windows. The Dell logo appears, BIOS functions correctly, yet it gets stuck afterward. I replaced the old CMOS battery which was only showing 1.5V, but that didn't fix the problem. I switched cables and power connections, tried updating graphics drivers, reset the CPU and cooler, even used a single RAM stick without success. Recently, after leaving it alone for a while, I restarted it and suddenly it booted into Windows perfectly—no issues at all. Right after, I realized something strange happened. I plugged everything back as before, kept one RAM stick, and connected the optical drive power cables. Still nothing. I also unplugged the CPU and motherboard power cords, used a different SSD. If anyone can assist, it would be a huge help—I'm building this for a friend. If this message doesn't reach you, please message me on Discord at SnappyCat360#9313
