Hello everyone. I recently purchased Razer Opus X headphones, but they stopped working during games. They function when the microphone is turned off, which suggests an issue with A2DP. I’m looking for a fix so I can use the built-in mic while playing. Thanks in advance!

Bluetooth headphones often display several audio sources. When the microphone is active, the stereo output is turned off, leaving only the hands-free option. Verify your settings match the intended device.

Everything is configured correctly. Hands-free controls the microphone, and stereo handles audio. I tried it in Discord and it functions properly, but the issue lies within the game. I don’t hear any sound unless hands-free is turned off. I looked online but couldn’t locate a fix.

Stereo works for audio only when the microphone isn’t active. You can’t enable Stereo and hands-free at once. When the mic is on, switch to hands-free mode too. Share a screenshot of your audio device’s sound settings panel.

I understand your concern. You're looking for a way to capture audio while still having sound active in the game. It seems like adjusting settings in both playback and recording menus might help. If you turn off hands-free mode during recording, you should get sound back in the game. Let me know if you need more details!

Set hands-free as the primary option in the playback section. This ensures audio plays during the game.

You just tested it, it functions partially... The sound quality is very poor.

That's the drawback of Bluetooth: when data flows both ways—like using the microphone and sharing bitrate—the quality drops. That's why most wireless gaming headsets skip Bluetooth and use a custom USB adapter instead. For better sound over Bluetooth, consider a different mic, perhaps a webcam.

It seems there are no viable options left, and we must accept a loss of audio fidelity. Thank you for your understanding.
