I've got a GTX 780ti FE installed on a spare machine I planned to use as my living room PC. It started up fine, but once the drivers were installed it would black screen and then freeze every time Windows loaded. After a reset it worked again, but when I reinstalled drivers it failed once more. I've used Windows 10 and 11, various older and newest driver versions, and even the latest GeForce drivers without resolving the problem. The system has a 500W PSU, and the GPU suggests needing at least 600W, though some users have managed with 500W before. I'm not sure if the GPU is faulty or if the PSU is insufficient. It seems the issue only appears when downloading drivers, even after deep cleaning and replacing thermal paste and pads. (Photos included for reference)
