In recent days I experienced two instances of black screen crashes. The first occurred while playing a game, the second while watching a movie. A BSOD would appear but audio would continue briefly before stopping. My RGB RAM would freeze temporarily before resuming. After some attempts, pressing win + ctrl + shift + b caused the system to restart and the RGB RAM to behave normally again. It seemed like my graphics drivers were disabled or conflicting. I used DDU to clear and reinstall them. Another time, after a hard impact on the table and subsequent crash, I switched the display mode, updated BIOS, reinstalled drivers, and updated chipset software. The specs are: R5 3600 with dark rock 4, MSI B550 A pro, Corsair vengeance RGB Pro 3200mhz CL16, Sapphire RX 6700xt, Be quiet straight power 11 650W, PNY 500GB M.2 and 1TB M.2. I've also tried turning off VSync (recommended by someone), updating BIOS, reinstalling GPU drivers, and reseating components except the CPU.

Visit C:\Windows\Minidump to see if any minidump files exist. If present, return to the Windows directory and transfer the Minidump folder to the Downloads folder (use your desktop if needed). Compress the copied folder and include it in a post. Please adhere strictly to instructions since Windows doesn't allow file changes there.

It was an unusual problem, but once I reinstalled the system, I haven’t experienced a black screen crash for a week. Probably something went wrong during the update.

It seems to be working now after a week, but the issue is recurring. I reinstalled Windows and it functioned briefly, yet it keeps happening.

This update came a bit too late, but it's okay. I discovered later that the January and February updates, along with the GPU drivers, might have caused problems for me. After reinstalling Windows, I accidentally added the December drivers and later realized the January drivers led to glitches like audio issues, black screens, and stutters. I wouldn't suggest using the February release either since I experienced stuttering and sound problems right after installing it. Stick with the December drivers—it should work better. Of course, if you have an AMD GPU, that's fine too.
