Whenever I press Start in Dx11, the display turns all black despite the sound playing. The only visible part is the label "Asus: Out of Range," which appears to be my monitor. When I run it in DX9, there are no problems. My system runs a GTX 970 and this issue occurs both at default settings and after optimization.

It seems similar to the problem in GTA 4 with a graphics card having more than 2 GB of VRAM. I added -nomemrestrict -norestrictions to the executable, but it might be the same issue. Did you check for La noire? I wasn't sure if I should look up that.

It seems the game might be using a resolution that's too high for your setup. Or the refresh rate could be faster than your monitor can handle, though likely the resolution is the issue.

It was the sole idea that came to mind. This problem also occurred in another game that was displayed at 1920x1080, whereas my screen is 1680x1050.
