Details: MSI PRO Z790-P system with DDR5 CPU i5 14600KF and Noctua NH-D15 cooler, RX 7700 XT GPU (PowerColor Hellhound), 2x16GB DDR5 RAM, storage options including M.2 NVMe SSD, SATA SSD, and HDD, running Windows 10 x64. BIOS version 7E06vAC. PC setup process completed without preboot prompts or boot menu. Booting into Windows works normally now. Occasionally the screen flickers or changes briefly during startup but remains dark. Removing the new GPU to use the old GTX 1650 restores full functionality. Attempted fixes included re-seating GPU, reconnecting power cables, resetting BIOS, and updating BIOS. Suggested checking if GPU ports are fully supported and considering HDMI compatibility. Any advice would be appreciated.

It seems the GPU isn't receiving enough time to start up. In your BIOS, look for a 'Post Delay Time' setting under 'Boot'. This can make your computer wait longer on the boot screen before trying to load the operating system. Usually, it's used to fix problems where devices aren't starting or registering correctly at boot (like storage controllers). This test checks if the BIOS is processing faster than the graphics card. If you notice the POST message after adjusting it to a few seconds, it might just be too slow. Otherwise, it shouldn’t affect your GPU usage. Let us know if this helps!

Thank you for your response. It seems your BIOS might not have that option, or it wasn't accessible. I attempted to adjust it, but no modifications had any effect.

Consider another PCIe port, otherwise I’d need to run diagnostics and possibly return it for repair. Feel free to request further guidance!

Fixed! A suitable display port for the HDMI adapter worked well, replacing the HDMI fixed. Appreciate all the tips!
