I recently installed BF4 and quickly noticed the screen turning green. I tried fixing it via Origin, but nothing resolved the issue. After cleaning up my files and reinstalling everything, the game still didn’t work properly. It’s not the newest version, but this glitch makes it unusable. Other games are fine—BF1 can run slowly in the UI but works perfectly during matches. Here’s what I have: an i5-4460 at 3.2 GHz, two GTX 970 GPUs, 16 GB RAM, a standard 1TB HDD, and no SSD. Appreciate any advice!

Right-click the BF executable in Task Manager and choose "Affinity Settings." Set it to use only 2 cores initially, then test with just 1 core.

The affinity core control for executing executable files determines the speed of window launches. PrinterDriver requires multiple cores because it handles complex tasks simultaneously. Audio drivers need more cores to manage their processing demands efficiently.
