I looked thoroughly for details about this problem. The M.2 slots on the standoffs lack threads. Your photo shows your board, while the one you expect has different features. Appreciate your help!

Consider reaching out to ASUS, particularly if you have the case intact. If not, place some foam in the opening and secure it with screws to keep the M.2 in place.

The motherboard is positioned this way. The mounting points should be included in the package.
