Hey, I see you're having issues with your Asus A43SD laptop. The flickering and flashing after boot is a common problem, especially if the screen or graphics card isn't working properly. The specs you shared look like a decent build, but the symptoms suggest something might be going wrong with the display or power delivery. The video you uploaded will be helpful for analysis. Let me know if you need further guidance!

It seems the graphics card might be struggling, especially with a second monitor. Adding another display could worsen performance issues.

It's most likely a GPU issue, probably due to frequent restarts rather than a driver problem.

Sure, it works to boot into BIOS, but the artifacts appeared right away. Unfortunately, if it's the GPU, I probably have to take it to a repair shop.

This GPU is quite outdated—just 11 years old, while your laptop still runs fine. You might try updating the BIOS to let it use the built-in GPU, which would limit you to basic browsing. Another option is a reflow process, where you heat the GPU up to around 200°C so it can be reattached. However, this isn't a permanent fix; it could work for a short time—perhaps a week or six months—but eventually it will fail again.
