Hi everyone, my new PC is working perfectly so far. I installed an Asrock b450m pro4 board, a Ryzen 3100 processor, 8 GB of DDR4 3000 RAM, and a GTX 1060 graphics card. When I turn it on, nothing appears to happen—no lights, no beeps, no fan spinning. I’m curious what could be wrong. Could the BIOS need an update to support the Ryzen 3100? The box label says it’s compatible with the Ryzen 3000 series.

Purchased a fresh power supply – left all components unplugged except RAM – didn’t relocate RAM to another slot – briefly removed the CMOS battery and reinserted it – no further actions taken.

The 3100 came out after the 3600, which means the BIOS should be updated to include a CPU capable of posting the board. The best option is to bring it to a local shop to check availability of a Zen+ model for posting.
