I'm trying to adjust my location settings on my phone. The app claims I'm from England but I'm actually from Romania. The admin suggests changing the region, though I'm not sure if that's necessary. My device is an LG V20 with Android 7.0.

Open developer settings and ensure they are disabled. Did you purchase the phone used or did you buy it directly from the manufacturer?

Through retailers such as Amazon or others, the largest player is eMAG. However, I believe my phone was purchased outside the EU, because the box included an American fast charger and the box itself provided an adapter.

Do you have a Google account linked to the games? You should adjust your region in the Google account settings, which will apply your region and other preferences to all Google services. It’s likely you chose English for searches and YouTube, but these options should be distinct.
