my computer shakes up during gameplay and I’m unsure why—it feels like it’s tied to my hardware. It was installed in May, so maybe uneven thermal paste or a weak 1000W power supply is the issue. I also suspect faulty cables for my monitor, which is about two years old (1920x1080p). I have both devices on separate extension cords. Updated October 25, 2022 by Schentler – more details added.
I checked the QVL for your board and the RAM SKU wasn't found. It's CMK16GX4M2Z3200C16, not CMK16GX4M2B3200C16. The differences come from the B and Z parts. Could be a mismatch, or it might be worth investigating further. Ryzen boards are known to be sensitive to RAM stability. Let me know how I can help.
The exact kit I own is what caused this outcome. It normally fires raspberries when I attempt to go above 2933 1.37v 16-18-18-36. I dedicated an entire day in 2020 fixing windows to stabilize those settings on R2000/3000.
It's curious that the solution kit still doesn't upload at its rated speed of 3200. It performs well during testing, but it froze during sleep last week due to a DRAM light issue. Turning it off resolved the problem. I'm not sure if this indicates a faulty board, but I hope a better one comes along soon.
I often suggest a solid essential package for Ryzen. It's hard to miss a reliable set.
It's accurate that newer BIOS versions have addressed some of these problems.
