Issue with 5800x3d on Prime B450 Plus
The problem lies with the 5800x3d installed in the board; the PC seldom powers on unless I make some adjustments like removing RAM, clearing CMOS, etc. It runs flawlessly with the 2600 chipset, but with the 5000 it fails to turn back on until I go through several changes. The RAM is currently in the QVL, and I've tried various slot/stick configurations, flashed the BIOS twice just to confirm everything is correct. The CMOS has been reset multiple times, and the 5800x3d functions perfectly on another board variant with the 450 chipset. Anyone have any suggestions about what might be going wrong?
It happened to me too, I realized I missed updating the chipset drivers.
