Their tests showed the GPU was functioning properly, leading me to suspect the motherboard itself is the cause, especially since I didn’t encounter problems with a 3080 12GB model.

Completely feasible. It's still strange it would crash even when no game is running, just while idle, even after a restart. I should also mention that these kinds of problems didn<|pad|>'s not be there during the first month after installing the new GPU, only after updating drivers did issues appear. The same happened with the 3080 I recently sold—it never had problems. Also, the RAM sticks are brand new with the GPU.

It seems I might have been right after all. The X570 motherboard was almost unusable, but after replacing the Corsair 850M PSU with my Pure Power 12 M, the ASUS TUF x570 stopped working. Eventually, I got the ASUS ROG Strix B550-F, and everything functioned properly. Thanks for the assistance!
