I just finished my first PC build. Everything looked fine at first, but when I tried to install Corsair 16GB and set the RAM speed to 3200MHz, the computer wouldn't boot. I had to reset the CMOS whenever I could restart it. I added more voltage and tried XMP 1 and 2, but nothing worked. I managed to boot at 2933MHz, but I don’t want my expensive RAM to be wasted. The Windows screen sometimes appears, but it’s blue and I can’t do anything except restart. What should I do? Should I replace the RAM with just Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro instead of the SL version?

Check if the rated frequency is 3200MHz for that RAM module. If not, it means you're pushing it beyond its rated speed and stability might be affected. Make sure the BIOS is current; sometimes XMP has compatibility problems, and after a fix, the motherboard BIOS may need updating. I recommend updating the BIOS first and then retrying XMP settings.

The kit operates at 3200mhz according to the bios, and I was hesitant about testing that setting. As a new builder, I wasn’t sure how to proceed, but I think I simply downloaded the latest version onto a flash drive.
