Hello,
I bought a Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 8 laptop equipped with an RTX 4080, an i9 13000hx processor, and 32 GB of RAM. In games such as Forza Horizon 5 I achieve 80-90 FPS in 4K, but consistently experience around 1% low frame rates between 40-50 FPS and 70 FPS in 4K for Far Cry 5. My CPU usage stays near 20% while the GPU runs at 90s. The GPU temperatures remain in the 50s and 60s. This causes the games to stutter, which is really frustrating. I’m not very tech-savvy, but I know this shouldn’t be happening. I updated the BIOS and NVIDIA driver without success and don’t have any other ideas on how to fix it. Could anyone suggest possible solutions or point out what might be causing this issue? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! I updated the bios and nvidia driver but had no success. Use DDU to delete all GPU drivers (intel, AMD, Nvidia) in Safe Mode, then install the latest driver from Nvidia's support site via an elevated command, such as right-clicking the installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
