Hey everyone, before the latest GTA5 patch, I was consistently hitting 100-150 fps on a 2560x1440 display with the high preset. After the update, I dropped to just 25 fps under the same conditions. Other games like Fortnite and Blops3 are running smoothly too. My GPU is working well, clock speed and usage seem normal, but the numbers don’t add up. Checking Steam forums shows only a handful of users with the same problem, and no solution has been posted. My rig uses an Intel i7 7700k, 4.5 GHz, Corsair 16GB DDR4 at 2400MHz, EVGA GTX 980ti SC with ACX 2.0 driver. The frame rate was set to 4.5 after the update, but I didn’t notice anything unusual.
