When i launch game, i got blank screen and says Bioshock not responding. I tried to run with compability mode and nothing happens. How can i fix this?

Similar to Specs and Windows versions, because Bioshock doesn't just crash without a reason, at least not like that. Never happened for me, and it shouldn't happen to you either.

Windows 7 Home Premium SP1
PC Specifications: Core 2 Quad QX9300, NVIDIA 9800M GTS, 8GB RAM, 1066MB SSD
I encountered a wall safe issue where items were vanishing. After installing a patch, the problem persisted. I reinstalled the game, but it still crashes upon launching.

Review the BioShock page on PCGamingWiki. It mentions that updating OpenAL Soft can resolve startup issues.
