I have configured all the required settings, but desktop Gmail notifications are not visible. Other platforms like Facebook and Instagram function correctly.

Did you turn on Notifications in the Gmail website?
Refer to Step 3 for details.
Also, confirm whether Gmail remains open and logged in on a Chrome tab. If not, notifications are likely disabled.

Are you sure you are confirming a notification update? For example, selecting "Save," "Ok," or "Yes." It might be off-screen—please scroll down and confirm before leaving the relevant screens. Was Chrome closed or restarted after the notification change? Was the system rebooted following the update?

Now it's working. You need to have the open Gmail account tab in the browser. Thanks.

There is another way, more challenging but it works better for me. I use Outlook, so I turn on notifications via the app, and I save the shortcut to launch the folder, which starts the program when you open windows. Then you close the program, and it appears in the system tray, so notifications are sent automatically.
