Hello, I understand you're seeking advice on small issues on the side of a motherboard PCB. Since you can't test it yet and the imperfections aren’t obvious scratches, let's explore possible signs that might affect its performance. If you notice any discoloration, missing components, or unusual heat buildup, those could indicate damage. Otherwise, it’s wise to keep an eye on things and consider professional evaluation once possible. Let me know if you’d like more details!

Hello, thank you for your reply. I hope the motherboard is fine. This is my first time removing it from its packaging since buying it about a month ago, and I won’t be able to test it for another three weeks. The marks were visible when taking it out and weren’t caused by me. I believe they aren’t scratches because they look convex rather than concave—they’re raised and not aligned with the flat side of the PCB. They don’t seem to harm any traces, which is why I posted this for a second opinion. It’s proving very tough to reach the distributor right now due to the COVID-19 situation in the UK, so I’ll wait three weeks and contact them if needed to arrange a replacement. Thank you.
