I set up WireGuard on the Raspberry Pi a short while ago that also handles my Pihole, but when I connect my computer it suddenly disconnects from the internet. I understand this isn’t the main concern, though—I’m wondering if there’s a way to run the WireGuard VPN across the whole network instead of just per device. If you need screenshots, I can take them once I’m back home.

In theory, the pi hole directs all your internet activity through the Raspberry Pi, meaning employing a VPN on that device effectively hides your entire home network.

Check if PC and Pihole are connected to the same network. It doesn’t seem to work for you either. There might be a workaround, but connecting to the WireGuard server from outside your local network is the goal. You can forward all internet traffic through an external WireGuard server using a router—though it makes little sense if the Pi is already on the same network. What are you aiming to accomplish with the WireGuard server? Pihole handles DNS proxying, while other traffic flows normally.

I originally intended to mention needing a basic VPN for my computer, but I discovered Blokada can handle it on my PC via WireGuard, which means everything is fine.

Setting up your own VPN server serves a distinct goal compared to commercial options such as Blokada.
