Sure, for instance, a T-topology board tends to be poor with 2 sticks setups. However, it can work well if you fill all four dimms—daisy chain performs nicely in slots 2 and 4, for example.

When all four slots are occupied, does anyone know if the initial problem occurs where RAM fails to reach 3600 MHz?

Hello, I’m facing the same issue but with four sticks of Hyper X 8GB 3600MHz RAM. Adjusting them doesn’t seem to help. Everything functions normally in Windows, but games like Call of Duty freeze and require a restart at that speed. This is my first build, so any advice would be appreciated!
