Hi, your Wi-Fi card seems to be underperforming, especially on Ethernet connections. You've tried several fixes without success. It might help to check if other devices on the same network are experiencing similar issues. Also, ensure your router is functioning properly and consider resetting it. If the problem persists, contacting your internet service provider could provide further insights.

The component you're referring to is likely the antenna. It sat right next to the air duct, blocking the signal path between the router and the receiver.

The main focus seems to be a TV that operates without altering its surroundings, then resumes functioning when it feels appropriate. Additionally, my mobile phone and laptop speeds remain at full capacity, performing well even when used in the same location as the PC.

Make sure antennae remain clear. Shorten the gap between the device and the wireless source. Minimize any blockage between them. Consider switching to another frequency if both ends support dual bands. Perform a wireless survey to assess channel congestion. Set wireless configurations at the source to employ non-overlapping channels in WiFi transmissions. Install a wireless access point connected via wired uplink to the main source in areas with weak signal. These steps focus on improving coverage without relying on range extenders or Powerline over APs, though they work well if you prioritize better signal and ignore potential issues.

Thanks for the response. I've attempted the first four choices but can't manage them. I might explore the last two, though I noted to the other person that only this device experiences weak and almost nonexistent wireless service. The rest of my devices run smoothly and consistently when placed near the PC as well.
