Hello! I've encountered a minor issue while attempting to play multiplayer games on Steam. It appears the game runs for about five seconds before freezing, then resumes. This pattern repeats every time a match is joined. It seems to occur only after connecting to the internet, unlike the main menu where games like Duck Game and Crab Game work smoothly.

I've tried various setups: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, Windows 10 Pro & 11 Pro, HyperX Fury 16GB RAM, and a range of graphics cards including the EVGA RTX 3070 and Nvidia GTX 960. I've also tested different storage options like SSDs, HDDs, and even changed drivers, BIOS settings, and video configurations.

The problem started possibly in September, though I don't recall a specific month. It doesn't seem to affect singleplayer games or "The Cycle: Frontier." I've also noticed it doesn't happen with Apex Legends when launched from Origin. My troubleshooting steps have been quite extensive, and I'm still trying to understand what's causing this issue.

I've shared this information in another post, hoping it helps. Please let me know if I missed anything obvious. It's been quite a challenge figuring this out!

The issue disappeared on its own, without any effort from my side. There were a Steam update, GeForce, and some Windows updates, but I’m not sure which one resolved it. I was just curious about what triggered it.

It might have been a steam patch, but honestly, we don't really know. ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
