I need to transfer my Outlook 2010 data from the old laptop to the new one. My PST file is 8.6 GB, which is causing problems when using the normal export and import features in Outlook. Exporting it results in files with errors. I'm considering purchasing a PST mover or Remo Outlook back and Migrate software for this task. Before investing money, anyone have experience with these options? Will they handle such a large file?

If you want a complete Outlook setup on your new laptop, you don't need any exports or imports—just paste the PST file onto your new device and launch it in Outlook. Set it to the "Default" folder. I suggest starting with your accounts from the beginning. I have a PST file that has been around for over 20 years, moving through different versions without any issues.
