Hello, welcome! I’m trying to find the best category for this setup. I’ve been assembling a PC for about a month now and have noticed stuttering in every game I play, no matter how much I use the CPU or GPU. Here’s what I have built:

- GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4070 Ti GAMING OC 12GB GDDR6X 192-bit DLSS 3.0
- Intel Alder Lake, Core i9 12900K 3.2GHz
- Kingston FURY Beast 32GB DDR5 4800MHz CL38 Dual Channel Kit
- GIGABYTE Z790 GAMING X AX
- Cooler CPU ARCTIC AC Liquid Freezer II 240
- SSD Samsung 980 1TB PCI Express 3.0 x4 M.2 2280
- Seasonic G12 GC-850, 80+ Gold, 850W
- LED GIGABYTE Gaming M28U 28 inch UHD IPS 1 ms 144 Hz HDR FreeSync Premium Pro

I’ve tried turning on and off V sync, but the frames stay capped at 144 even when 60 frames are missing. I updated the BIOS and Windows, but nothing changed. The GPU drivers also didn’t help. Resolution wasn’t an issue, and I even played non-GPU games without any stuttering. Temperatures stayed between 50 to 60°C during intense sessions. In Windows settings, I switched power mode from balanced to performance, but it still didn’t fix the problem. Sometimes it happens during actions like kills or hits, or random events on the map. I’m not sure what to do next.
