I purchased my PC roughly two months ago, and all components were second-hand. It’s an R3 3300x GTX 1080Ti with 32GB of RAM, which worked well for me at first. About a week or two ago, I began experiencing random problems in several games. In BeamNG Drive it would crash unexpectedly, showing a D3D11 #887a0005 GPU that stopped responding. GTA V would randomly black out and close without warning, and CS:GO behaved similarly. Even games like Backrooms REC struggled to run for more than ten seconds. I assumed the issue was related to a driver problem, but after updating, reinstalling, and doing a full system reset, nothing improved. What’s unusual is that heavier titles such as Resident Evil 2, 3, 4 (and their remakes) run smoothly at maximum settings with 200% scaling, while Cyberpunk 2077 also performs well without crashes. It doesn’t make sense for lighter games to crash so frequently compared to these heavier ones, so the GPU seems unlikely to be the cause. Have others encountered similar problems?

It might be related to the power supply unit. Could you share your PSU model?

It's a Chieftec Force 85+ Bronze 650W CP-650S. It was fixed once because of an error, and it handled my overclocked Sapphire Toxic R9 280x Tri-X OC smoothly for two years with continuous high power usage—around 400 watts. I didn’t notice any coil noise, but there were some power problems at home that might have led to the PSU failing.
