Now whenever I wake up, my PC wakes up from sleep and stays unresponsive for about ten seconds. Then it plays the "Device Disconnect" sound and everything seems normal. There are no new devices connected to my PC. What’s happening?

It's typical for the device to start slowly. The issue might relate to your wireless card being linked to the computer.

My drive is fast and responsive, especially noticeable after waking from sleep. This behavior seems unusual since it doesn’t occur during startup.
