Have you experimented with a single RAM stick? Consider testing one RAM stick at a time to determine if it functions, and if not, switch to another. Also explore various slot positions during installation. It might be a defective RAM stick.

The issue is related to BIOS updates, not RAM. The red bar indicating compatibility problems usually means you need a BIOS upgrade for your motherboard.
