Issue at 3200MHz
Issue at 3200MHz
I have an MSI b450m pro-m2 Max motherboard and a Patriot 2x8 RAM kit at 3200MHz. The Task Manager displays only 8GB out of 16 being used, and the RAM is set to run at 2133MHz. After running XMP from BIOS, the system shuts off completely and takes 5-10 minutes to restart. This issue occurs even when testing other speeds like 2666MHz. The lag in games is really bothersome, and I’d appreciate any advice or help.

Which processor is installed? 8 is active or your total appears to be 8? Where are the RAM slots located?

The upper right corner indicates 16GB, yet only 8 are actively used; the remaining 8 are marked as 'hardware reserved'
Hardware not properly configured. Likely requires adjusting SoC voltage, boosting DRAM voltage, and reducing memory frequency.
