Hi. I opened Doom via Steam. I purchased it on January 21, 2018. Everything worked properly until the last moment. When exiting to the desktop, a black screen appeared consistently. Each time this happened, I had to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to open Task Manager and terminate the process. The same error message showed up every time. Eventually, I needed to end the application manually. Today, whenever I tried to close to desktop, the same black screen persisted. Despite the game running smoothly otherwise, this issue kept recurring. I’m still unsure why it happens.
