The computer I’m talking about was given to me. The user was struggling to get it functioning and eventually replaced it with a new one. They adjusted the PSU toggle for 240/120 voltage and managed to get it working. My friend wants a PC, so I upgraded his rig, swapped the GPU and installed a black screen, but everything powers on. After turning it off and removing the GPU, no problems arose. I attempted to install drivers thinking that might be the cause, but nothing helped. I tried pre-installing drivers and updating Windows, yet issues persisted. I searched online and saw similar problems, noting that the motherboard requires a BIOS update for newer GPUs. I’m stuck trying to locate the latest BIOS version for this model. If anyone has suggestions or leads, I’d appreciate it. The PC is an HP P7-1154 and the motherboard is AAHD3-HB. I’m still having trouble finding a compatible BIOS update.

Recommended is reaching out to HP tech support since I’m unable to locate the BIOS update.

It seems your friend is likely looking for another motherboard instead of dealing with the problems. I don’t blame him—it’s been a long search for something related to this motherboard. Thanks for your support!
