Hey there, I understand my laptop is a bit outdated, but it's the only one I own and I can't splurge on a replacement. I'm facing issues with certain full-screen applications. Whenever I switch to full screen for games like Dota 2, VLC, or Genshin Impact, the colors distort—red becomes blue, and so on. In Valorant, the entire screen turns into a rainbow blur. But when I quickly move between full screen and windowed mode, the color issues disappear temporarily. I've attached some photos; they might look like phone shots, but the colors are fine. Here are the specs: HP Pavilion 17 Notebook PC, Windows 10 Home, 64-bit, AMD A8-6410 APU, Radeon R5 graphics, 6GB RAM, 1TB HDD. Video file: video-1621705005.mp4.

Hello, yes I did. I also attempted to revert to an earlier version. Note that I omitted mentioning the update of drivers at the end.

Attempted a fresh setup once the Cold War ended in my games; it helped. For AMD graphics, you'll need to search YouTube for instructions.

Could be a display issue. Have you tested with different monitors or TVs?

Absolutely, that's correct. The rainbow itself doesn't influence them, but the color change does.

Restarted Windows 10 with a fresh install. Everything is working now. This solution works for those facing the same issue.

Navigate to the settings in Valorant. Select video and then Graphics Quality. Toggle the option labeled 'improve clarity' to on. This method seemed effective enough to try.
