Issue appears after installing Windows 11, causing a black screen.
I recently completed a new PC setup. The configuration includes a Ryzen 9800X3D, 32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM at 6000MHz, a 4TB Samsung NVMe SSD, MSI MAG X670E graphics card, an Asus RTX 5080, and Windows 11. I've experienced occasional black screens in games, especially under Windows or when using Chrome. These are brief, not crashes or system freezes, just temporary black displays followed by a quick recovery. I've reinstalled the graphics drivers and tested different cables, but the problem continues—sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. Anyone know what might be causing this?
All optional updates were applied and drivers refreshed. BIOS was up to date, so we should see the changes. If not, I’ll replace the monitor. I’ve been considering newer models and think my present one has a warranty, allowing me to request an RMA or repair at any time. It would also be better than her current setup.
