Hello! I’m interested in producing music on my PC at home. I’ve studied Logic Pro 9 in school using a Mac, but I need the same software for Windows. Since I use Windows, the version from my school won’t work. Could someone walk me through setting up a VM with Hackintosh step by step? I’m new to virtual machines and hope you can help clarify the process. Thanks!

Are you planning to build a hackintosh? Do you prefer MacOS exclusively, Windows as your primary system, or Linux?

The virtual machine will perform extremely poorly once it starts, regardless of whether it's launched.

I prefer Windows but also need to run macOS-only apps on the same machine.

It isn't always the case. Using virtual box might cause problems. Have you considered dual booting? You'll achieve optimal performance if your PC supports MacOS. If not, try dual booting Linux and run a VM as Linus did. Alternatively, opt for a budget Mac Mini and accept it. Older models are affordable and should function properly. Otherwise, explore new skills like Ableton or Fruity Loops.

Exactly right, that's what I thought too.

Thanks for your feedback. I’m not sure how to follow the steps you suggested. Could you share some links to resources that explain these tasks? Appreciate it!
